Life Long Learning Supports

Education Supports

BCP offers a range of supports to help those living in our community to access further or higher education and training. We provide one-to-one support with SUSI/CAO applications as well as information on the range of grants, bursaries and other funding opportunities available to students. In addition, BCP launches an Education Resource Fund for local students every summer. This fund can help with the cost of travel, books or IT and other equipment associated with further and higher education courses.

Since 2019, BCP have also run the Cherry Orchard Leaders in Learning Fund on behalf of the Cherry Orchard Development Plan working group. This is a scholarship of up to €1,500 for pioneering students living in the Cherry Orchard area.

The Education Department’s activities are informed by the D10 Education Task Force, a network of professional educators working in the local area. To find out more about the Task Force, please click here: http://www.d10educationtaskforce.ie/.
